Foreword
GB/T 2423 "Environmental testing for electric and electronic products - Part 2:
Tests methods" is divided into several parts, according to the test methods.
This part is Part 15 of GB/T 2423.
This part identically adopts IEC 60068-2-7:1986 (Ed2.1) "Basic environmental
testing procedures - Part 2-7: Tests - Test Ga and guidance: Acceleration,
steady state".
For ease of use, the following editorial changes have been made to this part,
as relative to the IEC standard:
a) CHANGE "This Part of IEC 60068" into "this Part of GB/T 2423" or "this
Part";
b) USE a decimal point ".", to replace the comma ",", which was previously
used as a decimal point;
c) DELETE the foreword of the international standard;
d) In order to be consistent with the names of other Parts of the existing GB/T
2423, CHANGE this part into the current name.
This part replaces GB/T 2423.15-1995 "Environmental testing for electric and
electronic products - Part 2: Tests methods - Test Ga and guidance:
Acceleration, steady" (idt IEC 60068-2-7:1986 Ed2.1).
This revision is an editorial revision of GB/T 2423-1995; there is no change in
the technical content. The revised chapter arrangement and format are
consistent with other parts. The specific editorial changes are:
a) COMBINE the original purpose and general description chapters into two
separate clauses in the Chapter 1;
b) INCORPORATE the introduction of the cited standards in the original IEC
foreword into the normative references in Chapter 2.
Appendix A of this Part is a normative appendix; Appendix B is an informative
appendix.
This part was proposed by Shanghai Institute of Quality Supervision and
Inspection Technology.
This part shall be under the jurisdiction of the China Electrical and Electronic
Products Environmental Conditions and Environmental Testing Standardization
Environmental testing for electric and electronic
products - Part 2: Tests methods - Test Ga and
guidance: Acceleration, steady
1 Scope
1.1 Purpose
It is used to determine whether the adaptability and performance of the structure
are good, AND assess the structural integrity of some components, under the
action of the force (except gravity), which is generated by components,
equipment and other electrical and electronic products (hereinafter referred to
as "samples"), subjected to a steady-state acceleration environment, such as
those generated by running vehicles, aerial vehicles, rotating machinery and
projectiles.
1.2 General description
The sample installed in the moving body will experience the force, which is
generated by the steady-state acceleration, although in some cases, the
acceleration of the ground vehicle is also quite large. However, this environment
is most obvious in airborne vehicles and rotating machinery.
Generally speaking, the acceleration value, which is experienced by the sample
during use, is different along each main axis of the moving body. In addition,
the acceleration values, in the two opposite directions of each main axis, are
often different.
If the orientation of the sample, as relative to the moving body, is not defined,
the relevant specifications, after considering the maximum acceleration of the
moving body on different axes, specify the steady-state acceleration levels of
each main axis of the sample, in two opposite directions.
2 Normative references
The provisions in following documents become the provisions of this Part
through reference in this Part of GB/T 2423. For the dated references, the
subsequent amendments (excluding corrections) or revisions do not apply to
this Part; however, parties who reach an agreement based on this Part are
