GB/T 18419-2017 NATIONAL STANDARD OF THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA ICS 65.100.10 G 25 Replacing GB/T 18419-2009 Domestic sanitary insecticidal - Aerosols ISSUED ON: DECEMBER 29, 2017 IMPLEMENTED ON: APRIL 01, 2018 Issued by: General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine; Standardization Administration of the People’s Republic of China. Table of Contents Foreword ... 3  1 Scope ... 5  2 Normative references ... 5  3 Terms and definitions ... 5  4 Requirements ... 6  5 Test method ... 7  6 Inspection rules ... 9  7 Marking, packaging, transportation, storage, instructions ... 11  Domestic sanitary insecticidal - Aerosols 1 Scope This Standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and instructions for use of domestic sanitary aerosols insecticide. This Standard applies to products that are formulated from active constituents and suitable solvents and auxiliaries. It uses propellants as an impetus to fill in the pressure-resistant container; the contents are ejected in a predetermined form to kill injurious insects. 2 Normative references The following documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For dated references, only the dated version applies to this document. For undated references, the latest edition (including all amendments) applies to this document. GB/T 601, Chemical reagent - Preparations of reference titration solutions GB/T 1600-2001, Testing method of water in pesticides GB/T 1601, Determination method of pH value for pesticides GB/T 2828.1-2012, Sampling procedures for inspection by attributes - Part 1: Sampling schemes indexed by acceptance quality limit (AQL) for lot-by-lot inspection GB/T 2829-2002, Sampling procedures and tables for periodic inspection by attributes (apply to inspection of process stability) GB 24330, General security technical specification for domestic sanitary insecticide 3 Terms and definitions The following terms and definitions are applicable to this document. 3.1 Aerosols insecticide 5 Test method 5.1 General Requirements for use of active constituents, toxicology, active constituent content and allowable fluctuation range, pesticide effect, heat storage stability, aerosols insecticide methanol content, aerosols insecticide internal pressure, aerosols insecticide net content shall be tested according to the provisions of GB 24330. 5.2 Appearance and senses 5.2.1 Appearance is inspected visually. 5.2.2 Senses are judged from smell. 5.3 Spray rate 5.3.1 Instruments 5.3.1.1 Constant temperature water bath: temperature control accuracy of ±2 °C. 5.3.1.2 Balance: the division value is not less than 0.01 g. 5.3.2 Test steps Take the sample in a water bath at (25 ± 2) °C; soak the water to four-fifths of the sample height; keep the temperature constant for 30 min; remove the sample and dry it; weigh the mass m1 (accurate to 0.1 g); shake the sample; spray the contents according to the spray direction that is marked by the sample until the contents cannot be sprayed; then, weigh the mass m2 (accurate to 0.1 g); open the sample and remove the remaining liquid; then, weigh the tare m3 (accurate to 0.1 g). The spray rate is calculated according to Formula (1): Where: rs -- spray rate; m1 -- the mass of the sample before spraying, in grams (g); m2 -- the mass of the sample after spraying, in grams (g); V1 -- the volume of potassium hydroxide standard titration solution that is consumed by the titration sample solution, in milliliters (mL); m4 -- sample mass before sampling, in grams (g); m5 -- sample mass after sampling, in grams (g); 0.0365 -- the mass of hydrochloric acid (HCl) that is equivalent to the concentration of 1.00 mL of potassium hydroxide standard titration solution [c (KOH) = 1.00 mol/L]. 5.4.2 pH measurement (water-based, alcohol-based products) Shake the sample; use a nozzle with a catheter to slowly spray the appropriate amount of insecticide into the test tube; put it in a 55 °C water bath; after the propellant is slowly exhausted (until there are no obvious bubbles), perform the test according to the method of GB/T 1601. 5.5 Moisture Take the sample after pretreatment, according to the Karl Fischer method in GB/T 1600-2001 (it is allowed to use a trace moisture analyzer of the same accuracy). Note: "sample after pretreatment" is the sample that has been pretreated during the measurement of the content of the active constituent. 6 Inspection rules 6.1 Inspection classification Inspection is divided into delivery inspection and type inspection. 6.2 Delivery inspection The product can only be delivered after being inspected by the quality inspection department of the manufacturer in accordance with this Standard; it is accompanied by instructions for use and inspection mark. The delivery inspection adopts the normal inspection single sampling plan of GB/T 2828.1- 2012 special inspection level S-2. The inspection items, requirements, test methods and acceptance quality limit AQL value are shown in Table 1. Table 1 Inspection items Requirements Test method Acceptance quality limit AQL Appearance and senses 4.2 5.2 6.5 7 Marking, packaging, transportation, storage, instructions 7.1 Marking 7.1.1 The following Chinese contents shall be marked on the product: a) product name, trademark, manufacturer name and address; b) active constituents and contents; c) product implementation standard number; d) production date, product batch number and expiration date; e) qualification mark for product quality inspection; f) model or specifications; g) pesticide registration certificate number or temporary pesticide registration certificate number; h) pesticide production approval document number or production license number; i) toxicity identification; j) matters needing attention (such as keeping away from children, not allowed to store in high temperature and open flames); k) net content of aerosol. 7.1.2 The following Chinese contents shall be on the product packaging: a) pictorial marking for packaging, storage and transportation; b) product name specifications; c) quantity; d) gross weight; e) the name and address of the factory; f) dimensions: length × width × height (cm); g) matters needing attention: "careful handling", "keep dry", "do not press too hard" and other words or storage and transportation icons; ......
