1 Scope
This Standard specifies the terms, requirements, test methods and inspection rules for
the limit of harmful substances of plastic furniture.
This Standard applies to all kinds of plastic furniture products used indoor and outdoor,
as well as in public places.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions are applicable to this document.
3.1 Plastic furniture
Furniture made entirely of plastic materials, or furniture made of frames or components
mainly composed of plastic sheets, pipes, profiles, etc.
3.2 Phthalates
Carry out according to the method specified in Appendix C of GB 6675-2003.
5.4 Determination of the total of benzo[α]pyrene and polycyclic aromatic
hydrocarbons (PAH)
Carry out according to method 1 specified in SN/T 1877.2-2007.
5.5 Determination of polybrominated biphenyls
Carry out according to the method specified in SN/T 2005.2-2005.
5.6 Determination of polybrominated diphenyl ether
Carry out according to the method specified in SN/T 2005.2-2005.
6 Inspection rules
6.1 Inspection items
All technical contents listed in this Standard are type inspection items.
6.1.1 Under normal production conditions, type inspection shall be carried out at least
once a year.
6.1.2 Type inspection shall be carried out in any of the following cases:
-- when a new product is initially finalized;
-- when the product is produced off-site;
-- when there are major changes in product formula, production process and raw
materials;
-- when production is resumed after a suspension of three months and above.
-- when it is requested by the client;
-- when the national quality and technical supervision agency proposes type
inspection requirements.
6.2 Determination of the test result
6.2.1 When the results of all inspection items meet the requirements of this Standard,
the product is determined to be qualified; if any of the inspection results does not meet
the requirements of this Standard, the product is determined to be unqualified.
6.2.2 Where the furniture contains different plastic materials, if all materials meet the
requirements of this Standard, the product is judged to be qualified; if any one of the
