Jet fuel No.2
This standard applies to jet fuel, which is obtained by processing natural crude oil. This
product is produced, in accordance with the raw materials and production processes,
which are used in the samples that have passed the identification procedures stipulated
by the state. Its code is RP-2.
This product allows the addition of various additives, that are beneficial to improve the
quality of jet fuel, alone or in combination. The amount and type of addition are
specified otherwise, in accordance with specific situations.
1.This product must meet the following requirements.
Note.
① It is allowed to use SY 2210-77S "Determination of net calorific value of jet fuel
(calculation method)", for calculation.
② Pour the oil sample into a 100 ml glass graduated cylinder. Observe at 15 ~ 25 °C,
which shall be transparent, AND free of suspended and precipitated debris and water.
In case of disputes, the determination shall be carried out, according to GB 511-77 and
GB 260-77.
③ The dynamic thermal stability shall be measured at least once a year, according to
SY 2226-77 S.
2.The packaging, marking, storage, transportation, handover acceptance of this product
shall be carried out, according to SY 2000-78;
3.Sampling is carried out according to SY 2001-77.Take 2.5 liters, for inspection and
retention.
Note. From the date of implementation of this standard, the original standard SY 1006-
77 was abolished.
