Foreword
All the technical contents in this Standard are mandatory.
This Standard was drafted as per the rules specified in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This Standard replaces Amendment 1 of GB 13078-2001 Hygienical Standard for
Feeds; GB 13078.1-2006 Hygienical Standard for Feed - Limited Content of Nitrite in
Feeds; GB 13078.2-2006 Hygienical Standard for Feed - Toleration of Ochratoxin A
and Zearalenone in Feeds; GB 13078.3-2007 Tolerance Limits for Deoxynivalenol in
Formula Feed; GB 21693-2008 Tolerance Limits for T-2 Toxin in Formula Feed.
Compared with the original standards, this Standard has the major technical
differences as follows besides the editorial modifications.
--- Adjust the scope of the standard, modify which into “this Standard is applicable
to the feed ingredients and feed products listed in Table 1; inapplicable to pet
feed products and feed additive products”, delete the content of feed additive
products.
--- Add the limited contents of 3 items, namely, fumonisin, polychlorinated biphenyls
and hexachlorobenzene.
--- Specify the limit value of the significant figures.
--- Expand the coverage of each items’ limit values and uniformly list in the order of
feed ingredients, additive premixes, concentrated feeds, concentrate
supplements, formula feeds; further detail the limit levels of each item int the
different feed ingredients and feed products (different ages and animal
categories), thereof.
Total arsenic. modify the limit of the total arsenic; delete the exceptional
regulation of organic arsenic preparation of the original standard; increase the
limit content in the following substances such as “hay and its processed
products”, “palm kernel cake (meal)”, “algae and its processed products”, “shell
animals and their by-products (excluding the shrimp oil), fish and shrimp power,
aquatic Mollusca and their by-product s (excluding oil-fat)”, “other aquatic animal-
derived feed ingredients (excluding the oil-fat of aquatic animal)”; combine the
“fishmeal” into “other aquatic animal-derived feed ingredients (excluding the oil-
fat of aquatic animal)”; increase the limit content in “other mineral feed
ingredients”, “oil-fat”, “other feed ingredients”; combine the “zeolite powder,
bentonite, medical stone” into “other mineral feed ingredients”; expand the
“additive premix for pig and poultry” into “additive premix”; expand the
“concentrated feed for pig and poultry” and “concentrate supplement for cow and
sheep” into “concentrated feed” and “concentrate supplement”; delete the
instructions on proportional conversion of the original standard; increase the limit
growing chicken” as “formula feed for broiler chicken, brooding chicken, breeding
chicken”; the limit content is unchanged; combine “formula feed for growing duck,
meat duck” and “laying-duck formula feed” into “duck formula feed”; the limit
content is unified to 200mg/kg; increase the limit content in “aquatic formula feed”
and “other formula feeds”.
Nitrite. increase the limit content in “pre-food and by-products obtained in the
production process of the meat products such as ham powder”, “other feed
ingredients”; combine “corn”, “cake meal, wheat bran, rice bran”, “grass powder”,
“bone powder, meat meal” into “other feed ingredients”; the limit value is unified
to 15mg/kg; expand separately “concentrated feed for chickens, ducks, pigs”,
“concentrate supplement for cow (dairy cattle, meat cattle)” and “duck formula
feed” into “concentrated feed”, “concentrate supplement” and “formula feed”.
Aflatoxin B1. the limit content in the feed ingredients is separately listed as per
“corn processed products, peanut cake (meal)”, “plant oil-fat (excluding the corn
oil and peanut oil)”, “corn oil, peanut oil” and “other plant feed ingredient’;
combine “corn”, “cotton seed cake (meal), rapeseed cake (meal)”, “bean meal”
into “other plant feed ingredients”; specify the limit content in “concentrated feed
for piglet and young poultry”, “concentrated feed for late meat ducks, growing
ducks, laying ducks” and “other concentrated feeds”; increase the limit content
in “concentrated supplement for calf and lamb”, “lactation concentrate
supplement” and “other concentrate supplement”; specify the limit content in
“formula feed for piglet and young poultry”, “formula feed for late meat ducks,
growing ducks, laying ducks”; increase the limit content in “other formula feed”.
Ochratoxin A. expand “corn” into “cereals and their processed products”.
Zearalenone. increase the limit content in “corn and its processed products
(excluding corn husk, sprayed corn husk, corn syrup dry powder)”, “corn husk,
sprayed corn husk, corn syrup dry powder, corn distiller’s grains products” and
“other plant feed ingredients”; increase the limit content in “concentrate
supplement for calf, lamb and lactation”; list the “formula feed” in the original
standard as per “piglet formula feed”, “young sow formula feed”, “other pig
formula feeds” and “other formula feeds”, respectively.
Deoxynivalenol. increase the limit content in “plant feed ingredient”, “concentrate
supplement for calf, lamb and lactation” and “other concentrate supplements”;
combine “poultry formula feed” into “other formula feeds”.
T-2 toxin. increase the limit content in “plant feed ingredient”; express “pig
formula feed” and “poultry formula feed” into “formula feed for pig and poultry”;
the limit value is reduced to 0.5mg/kg.
Cyanide. increase the limit content in “flax seed [sesame seed]” and “other feed
products (excluding oil-fat), fishmeal”; increase the limit content in “oil-fat’;
combine the “formula feeds for chicken and pig” of the original standard into
“additive premix, concentrated feed, concentrate supplement, formula feed”; the
limit value is reduced to 0.05mg/kg.
