This Document replaced GB 4706.25-2008 Household and Similar Electrical Appliances - Safety - Particular Requirements for Dishwashers. This Clause of GB/T 4706.1-2024 is replaced by the following. This Document deals with the safety of electric dishwashers for household and similar purposes. This Document applies to electric dishwashers for household and similar purposes, with single- phase appliances rated at no more than 250V and other appliances rated at no more than 480V, used for washing and rinsing plates, cutlery, and other utensils. This Document defines household and similar appliances as including those used by non- professionals in shops, light industry, and farms. However, appliances used for professional washing and rinsing of dishes, cutlery, etc., for commercial purposes are not considered household and similar appliances. In practice, the common hazards associated with the appliances covered in this Document are those encountered by everyone in and around a dwelling. However, this Document generally does not cover the following situations. --- The following groups (including children). ● Those with physical, sensory, or mental disabilities, or ● Those who lack experience and knowledge, are unable to safely use the equipment without supervision or guidance. --- Situations involving children playing with equipment. NOTE 101.The following situations shall be paid attention to. --- For appliances intended for use on vehicles, ships, or aircraft, additional requirements may be required; --- Relevant national authorities may have stipulated additional requirements for the appliances.
