For the purpose of this document, the terms and definitions defined in GB/T 4782, GB/T 12673, GB/T 15089 and GB/T 17867 and the following apply. 3.1 control configuration Relevant combination of control type, location, orientation and mounting plane. 3.2 direction of motion stereotype Direction of motion that a majority of people expects for the effective operation of a control. 3.3 stereotype strength Common way that most users activate a control. 3.4 on/off or increase/decrease control Non-specific function control with activation/deactivation functions or strengthening/weakening effects. 3.5 specific function control Control used to activate specific functions. Examples: Door locking and unlocking controls, window raising and lowering controls, low/high beam turning on controls and wiper controls.4 Design requirements
4.1 General The three-dimensional rectangular coordinate system referenced by the direction of motion and operation direction of controls shall comply with the requirements of GB/T 12673. The vehicle coordinate system is shown in Figure 1: - Z plane, which is a plane parallel to the Z datum plane; - X plane, which is a plane parallel to the X datum plane; - Y plane, which is a plane parallel to the Y datum plane. ......Source: Above contents are excerpted from the full-copy PDF -- translated/reviewed by: www.ChineseStandard.net / Wayne Zheng et al.
