For the purpose of this document, the terms and definitions defined in GB 8408, GB/T 20306 and GB/T 28622, as well as the following, apply. 3.1 ride identification number; RIN A code assigned by the amusement ride manufacturer to identify a particular amusement ride. 3.2 ride property code; RPC The first part of the ride identification number (RIN), used to describe the general properties of the amusement ride. 3.3 ride feature code; RFC The second part of the ride identification number (RIN), used to describes the structural and motion characteristics of the amusement ride. 3.4 manufacture identification number; MIN The third part of the ride identification number (RIN), which is the unique manufacturer identifier of the amusement ride.4 Content and composition of ride identification number
4.1 Basic composition of ride identification number The ride identification number (RIN) consists of three parts. the ride property code (RPC), the ride feature code (RFC) and the manufacture identification number (MIN), as shown in Figure 1. 4.2 Ride property code (RPC) The ride property code (RPC) is the first part of the ride identification number, consisting of two fields. The first field indicates whether it is a special equipment, consisting of a single letter. Those falling within the scope of special equipment supervision are indicated by T, while others are indicated by F. The second field indicates the device’s design acceleration zone, consisting of a single digit. The device’s design acceleration zone is determined according to GB 8408. Devices with design acceleration zones of Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone 3, Zone 4 and Zone 5 are indicated by 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, respectively. 4.3 Ride feature code (RFC) The ride feature code (RFC) is the second part of the ride identification number, consisting of three fields. The first field indicates the primary motion form, consisting of a single letter. Slide is indicated by H, rotation is indicated by X, lift is indicated by S, combination is indicated by Z, and others are indicated by Q. The second field indicates the device type with structural and motion characteristics, consisting of two Arabic numerals. Table 1 lists the device category and type code. The third field indicates the device’s main parameter, consisting of letters and corresponding technical parameter values. Table 1 lists the main parameters corresponding to the device category and type code. Device height is indicated by S, in meters (m); number of passengers per cabin is indicated by X, in persons; dip angle is indicated by Q, in degrees (°); swing diameter is indicated by D, in meters (m); running height is indicated by H, in meters (m); number of passengers is indicated by N, in persons; running speed is indicated by V, in meters per second (m/s); orbit height is indicated by G, in meters (m); number of passengers per vehicle (train) is indicated by Y, in persons; slide length is indicated by L, in meters (m). Technical parameter values are integers or decimals with one decimal place. The third field does not apply to devices of type codes 46 to 52. ......Source: Above contents are excerpted from the full-copy PDF -- translated/reviewed by: www.ChineseStandard.net / Wayne Zheng et al.
