1 Scope
This standard specifies the general production of industrial grade zirconium and zirconium alloy castings requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage
Storage, quality certificates and contracts (or orders) content.
This standard applies to the use of investment casting and machining graphite mold casting process for the production of zirconium and zirconium alloy castings.

3 Requirements
3.1 Supply Status
Casting should be cast supply. Demand side and specified in the contract (or purchase order) when, according to the casting or hot isostatic pressing annealed supplier.
3.2 Material
For casting mother alloy electrode remelting castings should be used at least twice vacuum melting forging ingot or ingots.
3.3 Chemical composition
3.3.1 Casting The chemical composition shall comply with the requirements of Table 1.
