1 Scope
SN/T 1589 This section provides the import and export of household and similar electrical appliances sampling, testing and judgment.
This section applies to single-phase appliances rated voltage not exceeding 250V, other appliances rated voltage not exceeding 480V appliances.
Not intended as a general household but may pose a danger to the public, such as appliances intended for use by non-professionals in the shops, light industry and farms
Appliance industry personnel, but also within the scope of this section.
Note 1. Examples of such appliances, for industrial and commercial cooking equipment, cleaning utensils and appliances used in the barber shop.
