Insect removal procedures for bulk cargoes
1 Scope
This standard stipulates the requirements, procedures, results judgment and disposal of the removal of bulk cargoes.
This standard applies to the removal of insects in and out of bulk cargo.
2 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
2.1
Non-container loaded cargo carried by vehicles (ships, aircraft, trains, and other vehicles).
2.2
Sanitary treatment measures taken to kill vector insects in bulk cargo.
3 pest removal method
The de-worming methods for inbound and outbound bulk cargo are mainly chemical methods, supplemented by physical methods.
3.1 Physical methods
Use high temperature or low temperature such as incineration, dry hot air, boiling, freezing or tapping, trapping, net catching to kill insects.
3.2 Chemical methods
Processing insecticides into certain dosage forms, such as powders, wettable powders, emulsifiable concentrates, milk powders, smoke agents, granules, spreads, by hand or by instrument
A method of applying to a certain place, or using a toxic gas to fumigate, acting on the worm through different ways, causing insect poisoning to death.
4 requirements
4.1 The killing rate of vector insects should be no less than 99%, and the relevant density index should not exceed 20.
4.2 Pesticide and equipment approved by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine should be used.
4.3 Prevent damage to human health, cause damage to vehicles, and protect food, valuables and instruments during pest removal.
