Foreword
This standard is a revision of SB 227-1985 "Technical Requirements for Electrical Equipment for General Technical Conditions of Food Machinery".
The main changes in this standard and SB 227-1985 are as follows.
--- Make major changes to the original standard, reclassify the provisions in the original standard, and divide it into Chapter 3 "General Electrical Installation Requirements",
Chapter 4, "Electronic Control Device Requirements" and Chapter 5, "Test Methods."
--- Chapter 3 "General electrical installation requirements", increased the mechanical strength of the device, heat and flame resistance of insulation materials; increased protection
Ground, accident protection, moisture resistance and other protection against electric shock; increased power cord and terminal requirements; increased minimum creepage
Distance and clearance and its measurement methods; revised leakage current and electrical strength regulations; removed insulation resistance
Provisions.
