1 Scope
This section GB/T 4513 specifies the physical properties of amorphous refractory testing methods.

3 Determination of geometric bulk density
3.1 The scope of application
Geometrically determined, suitable for green, dry and heat treated specimens. The condition of the specimen shall be recorded in the test report.
3.2 Sample
Formed specimens should be one of the following.
A-shaped. 230 mm × 114 mm × 64 mm; B-shaped. 230 mm × 64 mm × 54 mm; C-shaped. 230 mm × 64 mm ×
64mm; D shape. 160mm x 40mm x 40mm.
In accordance with the relevant provisions of GB/T 4513.5 Preparation and storage of samples.
NOTE For ram and dry materials, a cylindrical specimen with a diameter of 50mm ± 1mm and a height of 50mm ± 1mm may be selected instead.
