Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 4157-2006 "metal in the environment of hydrogen sulfide cracking special form of environmental cracking laboratory test."
The main technical changes compared with GB/T 4157-2006 are as follows.
--- Clear the purity of inert gas (see Chapter 5);
--- Increasing the hardness test requirements of different test methods with the sample (see Chapter 6);
--- Revised a different test solution formulations, the scope and test requirements, the type of solution, an increase of test solution D, and a clear test
Deoxy oxygen solution requirements (see Chapter 8,.2006 edition Chapter 7);
--- For different test methods involved in the test solution, were revised access to H2S gas requirements, made clear that the test solution make up
Charge H2S saturated gas concentration test methods, acceptance requirements and test concentration test cycle (see Chapter 10 ~
Chapter 14);
--- Modify the test method A, Method B and Method D sample size and surface roughness requirements (see Chapter 10, Chapter 11,
Chapter 13);
--- Increased four-point bending test (see Chapter 14);
--- Increased information Appendix C using iodine method to measure the concentration of H2S solution;
--- Increased information Appendix D Test Method D Test results to determine the recommended method of mechanical quality assurance;
--- Added informative Appendix E to determine KIapplied and KLIMIT recommended method.

Metal Sulfide Stress Cracking in Hydrogen Sulfide Environment
And stress corrosion cracking laboratory test methods
1 Scope
This standard specifies the low pH aqueous solution containing H2S environment, the metal material under tensile stress resistance to sulfide stress
Laboratory testing methods for cracking (SSC) and stress corrosion cracking (SCC).
This standard specifies the test reagents, test equipment, sample preparation methods and test procedures and other requirements. This standard includes five tests
method.
--- Method A. Tensile test;
--- Method B. Three-point bending test;
--- Method CC ring test;
--- Method D. Double Cantilever (DCB) test;
--- Method E. Four-point bending test.
The test methods specified in this standard include anti-SSC and SCC tests of metals at ambient temperature and pressure and at elevated temperatures and pressures.
This standard applies to.
a) Acceptance test to meet the requirements of the standard test, or products meet the minimum requirements of anti-environmental cracking (EC) performance of product acceptance
Assessment test.
b) Quantitative tests to provide studies or data on the resistance of products to EC. The information provided by different test methods is as follows.
--- Method A.720h does not fail the highest uniaxial tensile stress;
--- Method B.720h based on the statistical probability of 50% failure of the critical stress (Sc) value;
--- Method C.720h does not fail the highest hoop stress;
--- Method D. Average KISSC (Critical Stress Field Intensity Factor for SSC) of valid specimens in duplicate test specimens;
--- Method E.720h does not fail the highest tensile stress.
