This document is based on GB/T 20097-2006 and integrates the coverage of the size and type in GB/T 13640-2008 "Labor Protective Clothing Size and Type" Compared with GB/T 20097-2006, the main technical changes in the use of rates and types, in addition to structural adjustments and editorial modifications, are as follows. a) The scope has been changed (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2006 edition); b) The definition of harm has been deleted (see 3.1 of the.2006 edition); c) The definition of hazard has been changed (see 3.1, 3.2 of the.2006 edition); d) The definition of performance level has been changed (see 3.5, 3.6 of the.2006 edition); e) Added terms and definitions for clause numbers (see 3.6); f) Added safety requirements for protective clothing (see 4.2); g) Added requirements for industrial cleaning (see 4.3.2); h) Changed the requirements for dimensional changes caused by cleaning (see 4.3.3, 5.4 of the.2006 edition); i) Added requirements for size and shape (see Chapter 5); j) Deleted the color fastness requirements (see 5.2 of the.2006 edition); k) Added maintenance labeling requirements for industrial cleaning (see 6.2). This document is modified to adopt ISO 13688.2013 "General technical specification for protective clothing". This document has the following structural adjustments compared to ISO 13688.2013. a) 4.1 in Chapter 4 corresponds to 4.3 and 4.4 in ISO 13688.2013; b) 4.3 in Chapter 4 corresponds to Chapter 5 in ISO 13688.2013; c) 4.1 of ISO 13688.2013 was deleted; d) Chapter 6 corresponds to Chapter 7 of ISO 13688.2013; e) Chapter 7 corresponds to Chapter 8 of ISO 13688.2013; f) Appendix B, Appendix C, Appendix D, Appendix E and Appendix J correspond to Appendix A, Appendix C, Appendix B, Appendix J in ISO 13688.2013 respectively. Appendix F, Appendix E. The technical differences between this document and ISO 13688.2013 and their reasons are as follows. a) Added the terms and definitions of clause numbers (see 3.6) for ease of use; b) The terms and definitions of “length from front waist to back waist across the shoulders” and “torso” (see 3.6 and 3.7 of ISO 13688.2013) have been deleted. This document does not involve this term; c) The overview (see 4.1 of ISO 13688.2013) has been deleted.
