Content.
This document covers the safety requirements for transformers. When the term "transformer" is used, wherever appropriate, the term refers to the transformer, reactance
controller and power supply unit.
During the preparation of this document, IEC 60364 (all parts) "Low-voltage electrical installations" was taken into account wherever possible so that the transformers comply with this document.
Install according to specified wiring procedures.
If a transformer that meets the requirements of this document is found to have other characteristics that would impair the safety level specified in these requirements during inspection and testing,
If it is flat, it may not necessarily be judged that the transformer complies with the safety principles of this document.
When the materials used or the structural type of the transformer are different from those specified in this document, the requirements of this document shall be followed.
After inspection and testing, if it is found to be substantially equivalent, the transformer will be judged to comply with the safety principles of this document.
The non-safety standard involving electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of transformers is GB/T 21419 "Transformers, power supply units, reactors and their
Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements for similar products". However, the standard also includes tests that subject the transformer to conditions relevant to safety aspects.
The purpose of this document is to set out a set of requirements and tests that are considered to be generally applicable to most types of transformers and which
and tests can be cited by other parts of GB/T 19212 as needed. Therefore, this document cannot be considered a
This specification is applicable to all transformers. It is only applicable to those special types of transformers specified in other parts of GB/T 19212.
The other parts of GB/T 19212 used in conjunction with this document only include the requirements for the transformers applicable to that part, and do not include
The remaining parts apply to the contents of the transformer. For transformers with protection class IP00 and supporting transformers, it is possible to use them in the same structure

Safety of transformers, reactors, power supply units and combinations thereof
Part 1.General requirements and tests
1 Scope
This document specifies the electrical, temperature and mechanical safety requirements for transformers, reactors, power supply units and their combinations.
This document applies to the following independent and supporting standing or mobile dry-type transformers, power supplies (including switching power supplies), and reactors
and its combination of security domains. The windings may be enclosed or unencapsulated and they do not form part of the distribution network.
Note 1.The differences between transformers, power supply units and switching power supply units are as follows.
---For transformers, the frequency is not changed. However, a transformer (such as a constant voltage transformer) may have an internal resonant frequency not exceeding 30kHz;
---For power supply devices, the internal operating frequency and waveform are different from those of the power supply, and the internal operating frequency does not exceed 500Hz (see regulations
righteousness 3.1.17);
---For switching power supply devices, the internal operating frequency and waveform are different from those of the power supply, and the internal operating frequency exceeds 500Hz but does not
over 100MHz.
Other parts of GB/T 19212 can be found in the introduction of this document.
a) Stationary or mobile, single-phase or multi-phase, air-cooled (self-cooled or air-cooled), independent or supporting isolation transformer and safety
Isolation transformer has the following characteristics.
1) The rated power supply voltage does not exceed AC 1000V;
2) The rated power frequency does not exceed 500Hz.
And in addition to other provisions in other parts of GB/T 19212, values consistent with the following provisions.
1) For isolation transformer.
● The rated output of single-phase transformers does not exceed 25kV·A, and that of multi-phase transformers does not exceed 40kV·A;
● No-load output voltage and rated output voltage exceed AC 50V and do not exceed AC 500V, or wire according to the country
According to regulations or for a certain special purpose, the voltage shall not exceed AC 1000V.
