Foreword
This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents"
Drafting.
This document replaces GB 15930-2007 "Fire dampers for ventilation and smoke exhaust systems in buildings". Compared with GB 15930-2007, except for the structural
In addition to adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) The definition of fire damper has been changed (see 3.1, 3.1 of the.2007 edition);
b) Added the definition, classification and code, technical requirements and corresponding test methods of normally closed air supply valves (see 3.4, 4.1, 6.2, 7.3);
c) Added the definition, classification and code, technical requirements and corresponding test methods of automatic smoke exhaust windows (see 3.5, 4.1, 6.3, 7.4);
d) The classification, code and model have been changed (see Chapter 4, Chapter 4 of the.2007 edition);
e) Added fire resistance levels E1.0, E2.0, and E3.0 (see 4.1.3);
f) The limitation on flange types as flat steel and angle steel in classification and marking has been deleted (see 4.3 of the.2007 edition);
g) Added remote reset requirements for fire dampers and smoke exhaust fire dampers (see 6.1.3);
h) Added signal feedback function requirements for fire dampers, smoke exhaust fire dampers and smoke exhaust dampers (see 6.1.7 and 6.2.5);
i) The reliability requirements for fire dampers, smoke exhaust fire dampers and smoke exhaust dampers have been changed (see 6.1.9, 6.2.7, and 6.9 of the.2007 edition);
j) Modified the air leakage requirements at ambient temperature for fire dampers, smoke exhaust fire dampers and smoke exhaust dampers (see 6.1.11, 6.2.9,.2007 Edition)
6.11);
k) Added fire resistance test requirements for fire dampers with a rated operating temperature of 150°C (see 6.1.12.1);
l) Changed the smoke leakage per unit area requirement for fire dampers and smoke exhaust fire dampers during fire resistance tests (see 6.1.12.2,.2007 edition)
6.12.3);
m) Added temperature test for temperature control release device for fire dampers (see Appendix B).

---This is the second revision.
Fire dampers for building ventilation and smoke exhaust systems
1 Scope
This document defines the terms and definitions of fire dampers, smoke exhaust fire dampers, smoke exhaust dampers, normally closed air supply dampers, and automatic smoke exhaust windows, and specifies the classification,
Materials, accessories, appearance and tolerances, technical requirements, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage, and the corresponding test methods are described.
This document applies to fire protection devices installed in ventilation and air conditioning systems of industrial and civil buildings, underground buildings, or kitchen fume exhaust systems.
Valves, smoke exhaust fire dampers and smoke exhaust valves installed in mechanical smoke exhaust systems, normally closed air supply valves installed in mechanical pressurized air supply systems, and natural
Design, manufacture and inspection of automatic smoke exhaust windows for smoke exhaust systems.
Note. Fire dampers used in other situations shall be implemented for reference.

3 Terms and definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 5907 (all parts), GB/T 9978.1 and the following apply to this document.
3.1
Fire damper
Installed on the supply and return air ducts of ventilation and air conditioning systems, or installed on kitchen exhaust ducts and vertical exhaust ducts in public buildings
The branch pipe is usually open. When the smoke temperature in the pipe reaches the rated operating temperature during a fire, it will be closed.
Smoke-proof equipment that meets the specified fire resistance requirements and acts as a smoke and fire barrier.
Note. Fire dampers are generally composed of valve body, blades, opening and closing devices and temperature control release devices.
3.2
Installed on the pipe of the mechanical smoke exhaust system, it is usually open and closed when the smoke temperature in the smoke exhaust pipe reaches 280℃ in case of fire.
