3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Homeware
Clothing mainly suitable for home wear, including pajamas, home leisure clothes,
etc.
4 Product size
It follows the requirements of GB/T 6411 or GB/T 1335 (all parts). The size beyond the
standard range shall be increased or decreased in sequence, according to the grade value
and principle specified in the standard.
5 Requirements
5.1 Grading rules
5.1.1 Quality grades are divided into superior products, first-class products, qualified
products.
5.1.2 Intrinsic quality is graded by batches; appearance quality is graded by piece; the
combination of the two is graded based on the lowest grade.
5.1.3 The lowest test result of each intrinsic quality indicator is used as the basis for the
evaluation of the batch of products.
5.1.4 When appearance quality problems of different grades are found on the same
product, the lowest grade shall be adopted. Only two limit surface defects of the same
grade are allowed on the same product. If more than two defects are found, the product
shall be downgraded by one grade.
5.2 Intrinsic quality requirements
5.2.1 See Table 1 for intrinsic quality requirements.
body, except for special designs.
5.3.4.6 For patterned fabrics, the whole body shall be consistent in direction with the
main pattern as prevailing.
6 Tests
6.1 Internal quality inspection
6.1.1 Preparation and test conditions
6.1.1.1 The specimen shall not have defects that affect the test.
6.1.1.2 Before the test of dimensional change rate after washing and distortion rate after
washing, it is necessary to condition the humidity according to the standard atmosphere
specified in GB/T 6529; then conduct the test after the humidity conditioning meets the
requirements.
6.1.2 Test methods
6.1.2.1 Fiber content
It is performed according to the requirements of GB/T 2910 (all parts), GB/T 38015,
FZ/T 01026, FZ/T 01057 (all parts), FZ/T 01101, etc.
6.1.2.2 Formaldehyde content
It is performed according to the requirements of GB/T 2912.1.
6.1.2.3 pH value
It is performed according to the requirements of GB/T 7573.
6.1.2.4 Odor
It is performed according to the requirements of GB 18401.
6.1.2.5 Decomposable carcinogenic aromatic amine dyes
It is performed according to the requirements of GB/T 17592.
6.1.2.6 Bursting strength
It is performed according to the requirements of GB/T 19976-2005; the diameter of the
steel ball is (38 ± 0.02) mm.
6.1.2.7 Size change rate after washing
6.1.2.10 Color fastness to water
It is performed according to GB/T 5713.
6.1.2.11 Color fastness to perspiration
It is performed according to GB/T 3922.
6.1.2.12 Color fastness to rubbing
It is performed according to GB/T 3920, only in vertical direction.
6.1.2.13 Color fastness to splicing staining
It is performed according to method A in GB/T 31127-2014.For fabrics or products
with added teeth whose specimen size does not meet the requirement of (100 ± 2) mm
× (40 ± 2) mm, it can be cut according to the maximum size of the actual specimen;
then the two specimens can be combined along the short edge to form a combined
specimen.
6.1.2.14 Degree of staining by washing liquid
Prepare and wash the specimen according to method A (1) in GB/T 3921-2008.Then
filter with qualitative filter paper (medium speed), to remove impurities in the residual
soap solution. Pour the filtered soap solution into a colorimetric tube with a diameter
of 25 mm. Pour the unwashed soap solution with the same temperature as the test
temperature into another colorimetric tube (diameter 25 mm) as a reference specimen.
Under D65 standard light source, with white cardboard without fluorescent brightener
as the background, place the cardboard on the grading rack, to evaluate the degree of
staining of the washing liquid according to GB/T 251.The amount of soap solution
poured into the colorimetric tube is about 50 mL. During the grading, the distance
between the colorimetric tube and the white cardboard is about 10 cm, to avoid
interference from the shadow of the colorimetric tube. The grading must be completed
within 15 minutes.
6.1.2.15 Pilling
It is performed according to the provisions of Method E in GB/T 4802.1-2008.The
grading shall be based on the sample evaluation of pilling of knitted fabrics in GSB 16-
1523.
6.1.2.16 Appearance after washing
Wash and dry according to the provisions of the test method for dimensional change
after washing in this document; evaluate the washed garments piece by piece according
