1 Scope
YS/T of the provisions of section 74 of the method for the determination of cadmium in the amount of thallium.
This section applies to the determination of cadmium in the amount of thallium. Measurement range. 0.0005% to 0.025%.
2 principle of the method
In 0.05mol/L ~ 0.3mol/L HCl medium, thallium chloride anions (TlCl-4) to form a stable colored complex with crystal violet

3 Reagents
Unless otherwise indicated in the analysis using only recognized as analytical grade reagents and distilled water or equivalent purity.
3.1 over anhydrous sodium sulfate.
3.2 nitrate (ρ1.42g/mL), pure class distinctions.
3.3 hydrochloric acid (ρ1.19g/mL), pure class distinctions.
3.4 Hydrogen peroxide (30%).
3.5 toluene.
3.6 hydrochloride (11).
3.7 hydrochloric acid (0.3mol/L).
3.8 potassium permanganate solution (10g/L).
3.9 crystal violet solution (1g/L).
3.10 thallium standard stock solution. Weigh 0.1235g Thallium (I) sulfate (wTl2SO4≥99.9%) placed in 100mL beaker with water and dissolved.
Moved into 1000mL volumetric flask, dilute with water to volume, and mix. This solution 1mL containing 100μg thallium.
Warning. Thallium is highly toxic drugs, use caution.
3.11 Thallium standard solution. Pipette 50.00mL thallium standard stock solution (3.10) in 1000mL volumetric flask, dilute to the mark, mix
uniform. This solution 1mL containing 5μg thallium.
