Summary This standard specifies four different types of synthetic latex (styrene-butadiene latex, carboxyl latex, nitrile latex and concentrated latex) dry polymer preparation method for physical and chemical tests (such as Mooney viscosity, combined with styrene or combined with acrylonitrile content). This standard is applicable to synthetic latex containing anionic surfactants; the applicability of this standard to special types of latex, especially anti-agglomeration latex containing non-ionic stabilizer needs to be further determined; it may not be applicable to those containing high viscosity polymer material latex.
