Foreword
This document was in accordance with the requirements of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Directives
for standardization - Part 1: Rules for the structure and drafting of standardizing
documents".
This document replaces QC/T 580-1999 "Automobile transmission - Mounting
dimensions". Compared with QC/T 580-1999, except for editorial changes, the main
technical changes are as follows:
- MODIFY the installation dimensions of the front end of the transmission assembly
(see 4.1; Chapter 2 of 1999 edition);
- ADD the installation dimension of the rear end of the transmission assembly (see
4.2);
- DELETE the center distance grouping of the transmission assembly (see Chapter
2 of the 1999 edition);
- DELETE the installation dimensions of the front face of the transmission case and
the rear face of the clutch case (see 2.1 ~ 2.5 of the 1999 edition).

1 Scope
This document specifies the installation dimensions of the interface -- between the front
end of the transmission assembly and the engine or drive motor, AND the interface --
between the rear end and the transmission components.
This document applies to automotive mechanical transmission assemblies.

document through normative references in the text. Among them, for dated references,
only the version corresponding to the date is applicable to this document; for undated
references, the latest version (including all amendments) is applicable to this document.

4 Installation structure of automobile transmission assembly
Figure 1 shows a schematic diagram of the single output installation of the front end of
the automotive transmission assembly and the engine or drive motor, as well as its rear
end and transmission components. The dual output or multiple output structure is
implemented with reference to the single output structure.
