This Document replaced Q/BQB 613-2018 Abrasion Resistant Steel Plates for Engineering
Machine. Compared with Q/BQB 613-2018, the major technical changes of this Document are
as follows besides the structural adjustments and editorial modifications.

1 Scope
This Document specifies the dimensions, appearance, technical requirements, tests and
inspections, markings and inspection documents of abrasion resistant steel plates for
engineering machine.
This Document is applicable to abrasion resistant steel plates for engineering machine produced
by Baoshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd.

through reference in this Document. For the dated documents, only the versions with the dates

4 General Technical Requirements
Unless otherwise specified in this Document, the steel plates supplied in accordance with this
Document shall meet the corresponding requirements of Q/BQB 600.
5 Classification and Code
The designation, quality level, nominal thickness and purpose of the steel plate are shown in
Table 1.
6 Dimensions, Shape, Weight and Allowable Deviation
The tolerance of the unevenness of the steel plate shall comply with the provisions of Table 2;
7 Technical Requirements
7.1 Designation and chemical composition
7.2 Delivery status
The steel plate is delivered in the quenching or quenching + tempering status.
7.3 Mechanical properties and process properties
7.3.1 The impact properties and surface hardness requirements of the steel plate shall meet the
requirements of Table 4.

7.4 Special requirements
7.4.1 According to the requirements of the purchaser, after negotiation between the supplier
and the purchaser, and indicated in the contract, the steel plates can be ultrasonically inspected
one by one. The ultrasonic inspection method shall be in accordance with the provisions of
GB/T 2970; and the qualified level shall be specified in the contract.
8 Inspection and Testing
8.1 Inspection document type, when selecting the specified inspection and testing, shall comply
with the provisions of subclauses 8.2 ~ 8.4.
8.2 The number of specimens, sampling methods and test methods required for the inspection
items of each batch of steel plates shall comply with the provisions of Table 5.
8.3 Sampling frequency
8.3.1 Sampling frequency of chemical composition analysis
Smelting analysis of chemical composition shall be carried out by furnace.
8.4 Reinspection of Impact Test
If the impact test results do not meet the specified requirements, the single steel plate that has
been tested and the results are inconsistent cannot be accepted. Other steel plates with the same
thickness as the sampled steel plate may be submitted for impact test and acceptance piece by
piece.
