Summary This standard specifies the test method for determining the general physical and mechanical properties of rubber. It also specifies the specific mechanical properties of the yarn when it is in contact with the fabric. As the cross-section of the yarn is small, and used in specific occasions, and thus set up a number of special test methods. This standard applies to natural rubber or synthetic polyisoprene rubber into the glue. For some of the synthetic rubber (such as polyurethane rubber) made of silk, some of the test methods in this standard is not fully applicable.
