This standard and GB/T 9130-1988 compared to the main changes are as follows.
--- Standard name was changed to "steel pipe flanges with metal ring gasket technology";
--- Increasing the metal ring gasket material designator;
--- Increasing the metal ring pad portion commonly used materials and their recommended maximum use temperature;
