this Part, 3.2 and 3.3 of 2005 edition);
- MODIFY the chemical composition of copper alloy bus bars (see Table 2 in
5.3 of this Part, Table 1 in 4.3 of 2005 edition);
- ADD a note to “Table 3 -- Specifications of copper and copper alloy bus
bars” (see Table 3 of this Part, Table 2 of 2005 edition);
- SPECIFY the expression of test classification (see 8.1 of this Part, 7.1 of
2005 edition);
- MODIFY the expression of marking (see 9.3 of this Part, 8.3 of 2005 edition).
This Part was proposed by China Electrical Equipment Industry Association.
This Part shall be under the jurisdiction of National Technical Committee on

3 Terms and definitions
For the purpose this document, the terms and definitions defined in GB/T
2900.10 and following apply.
3.1
dimensions
Dimensions of bus bars, which are indicated by the nominal dimensions a × b
of the cross-sectional thickness and width of bus bars.
3.2
straightness
Any plane of the bus bar is statically placed on a reference plane, and it is the
maximum vertical distance from any point on the plane to the reference plane.
4 Code and product representation method
4.1 Code
The code classification of copper and copper alloy bus bars includes material
type code, cross-sectional shape code and state code, as shown in Table 1.
4.2 Product representation method
4.2.1 The composition and order of the product model are the material type
code, cross-sectional shape code and state code in turn.
4.2.2 The product is represented by the model, specification and standard
number.
5 Technical requirements
5.1 Cross-sectional shape of copper and copper alloy bus bars
The cross-sectional shape of bus bars is shown in Figure 1.The arc of the
cross-section of rounded-edge bus bars shall be completely symmetrical with
respect to the product axis, and the corner of the arc shall be transitioned.
