Sponge titanium, titanium and titanium alloys - Methods for chemical analysis
Part 18. Determination of tin content
Flame atomic absorption spectrometry
1 Scope
This section GB/T 4698 specifies the determination of tin content in titanium.
This section applies to the determination of tin content in titanium. Measurement range .1.00% ~ 5.00%.
2 method principle
The sample was dissolved with hydrochloric acid - fluoroboric acid, titanium oxide nitrate. Absorbance was measured at 286.4 nm of atomic absorption spectrometer.
3 reagent
Unless otherwise stated, only reagents identified as analytical grade and laboratory grade II water were used in the analysis.
3.1 Titanium (wTi ≥ 99.95%, wSn ≤ 0.001%).
3.2 Nitric acid (p = 1.42 g/mL).
3.3 Fluoroboric acid.
3.4 Hydrochloric acid (1 1).
3.5 tin standard stock solution Weigh 1.0000g metal tin (wSn ≥ 99.99%) in 250mL beaker, add 50mL hydrochloric acid
(3.4), low temperature heating dissolved. Remove and cool to room temperature, add 150mL hydrochloric acid (3.4), transferred to 1000mL volumetric flask, diluted with water
To the mark, mix well. 1 mL of this solution contains 1 mg of tin.
4 instruments
Atomic Absorption Spectrometer, attached tin Hollow cathode lamp.
In the best working conditions of the instrument, anyone who can meet the following indicators can be used.
--- Sensitivity in the sample solution with the same matrix solution, the characteristic concentration of tin should not exceed 4.0μg/mL;
--- Precision. With the highest concentration of standard solution measured 10 times the absorbance, the standard deviation should not exceed 1.0% of the average absorbance,
The lowest concentration of standard solution (not zero standard solution) measured 10 times the absorbance, the standard deviation should not exceed the highest concentration standard
0.5% of the average absorbance of the quasi-solution;
--- Working curve linear. The working curve according to the concentration is divided into five sections, the highest section of the absorbance difference and the lowest section of the absorbance difference
Than, should not be less than 0.7.
5 sample
In accordance with the promulgated sponge titanium, titanium and titanium alloy take sample preparation standards.
