General; - Part 2. Absorber-lined shielded enclosure; - Part 3. Transverse electromagnetic (TEM) cell; - Part 4. Bulk current injection (BCI); - Part 5. Stripeline; - Part 7. Direct radio frequency (RF) power injection; - Part 8. Magnetic field immunity; - Part 9. Portable transmitter simulation; - Part 10. Conduction immunity method for extended audio range; - Part 11. Reverberation chamber. This Part is Part 3 of GB/T33014. This Part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This Part uses the re-drafting method to modify and adopt ISO 11452-3.2001 “Road vehicles - Component test methods for electrical disturbances from narrowband radiated electromagnetic energy - Part 2. Transverse electromagnetic (TEM) cell”. The technical differences between this Part and ISO 11452-3.2001 are as follows. - PREPARE Clause 1 according to the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2009; - REPLACE the reference standard ISO 11452-1 WITH GB/T 33014.1 modifying and adopting ISO 11452-1; - The artificial network in Annex C of the original international standard references CISPR25, which is modified to the equivalent GB/T 33014.2. At the same time add GB/T 33014.2 in the normative references; - For consistency in understanding and presentation with Part 1, I, II, III, IV, V of Table C.1 are changed to L1, L2, etc., and I, II, III, etc. are understood as state I, II, III, etc.; Road vehicles - Component test methods for electrical/electronic disturbances from narrowband radiated electromagnetic energy - Part 3. Transverse electromagnetic (TEM) cell 1 Scope This Part of GB/T 33014 specifies the immunity test for electrical/electronic components to continuous electrical disturbances from narrowband radiated electromagnetic energy - transverse electromagnetic (TEM) cell. This Part applies to electrical/electronic components for M, N, O, L vehicles (regardless of the vehicle power system, e.g. spark-ignition engine, diesel engine, electric motor). 2 Normative references The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For dated references, only the dated edition cited applies. For undated references, the latest edition of the referenced document (including all amendments) applies. GB/T 33014.1 Road vehicles - Component test methods for electrical/electronic disturbances from narrowband radiated electromagnetic energy - Part 1. General (GB/T 33014.1-2016, ISO 11452-1.2005, MOD) GB/T 33014.2 Road vehicles - Component test methods for electrical/electronic disturbances from narrowband radiated electromagnetic energy - Part 2. Absorber- lined shielded enclosure (GB/T 33014.2-2016, ISO 11452-2.2004, MOD) 3 Terms and definitions For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 33014.1 apply. 4 Test conditions For transverse electromagnetic (TEM) cell, the useful frequency range is 0.01 MHz to - definition of test severity levels; - test signal quality; - use of net or output power measurements; - DUT monitoring conditions; - DUT orientation; - test report content; - any special instructions and changes from the standard test. Each DUT shall be tested under the most significant situations. i.e. at least in stand-by mode and in a mode where all the functions of DUT are working. 6.2 Test method Make a net, or output, power (see Figure 2) measurement and calculate the electric field using equation 1. where IEI - the absolute value of the electric field, in volts per metre (V/m); Z - the characteristic impedance of the TEM cell, in ohms (Ω) (typically 50 Ω); P - net power (P = Pforward - Preflected) or output power, Poutput, in watts (W); d - the distance between the floor and the TEM cell septum (b/2 in Figure A.1), in metres (m). An electrically small field-measuring device may be used to verify the calculated calibration curve for the field in the uniform field region. The following conditions shall be satisfied during the test. - The conductor on the printed circuit board shall be designed to handle the load current. - The doors of the TEM cell shall be closed at all times during the test. - Unused connectors shall be shielded, so that they do not emit radiation. filter with schematic circuit diagram (artificial network) In Figure C.1, the low pass filter's minimum attenuation from 1 MHz to 800 MHz is shown. For leads with wanted RF signals in the TEM cell useful frequency range, the low pass filter must be designed in such a way that this minimum attenuation is only effective outside the RF bandwidth of the DUT. The low pass filter shall be designed so that its impedance (from the side of the DUT) does not change the electric data of the input and output of the DUT. Above the useful frequency range of the TEM cell, the impedance of the low pass filter shall be 50 Ω. NOTE. The transfer function is measured between the TEM cell input and the connector panel referenced to a 50 Ω impedance. C.3 Design rules for the low pass filter C.3.1 General The minimum attenuation and frequency response of the low pass filter is as shown in Figure C.1. It is necessary to terminate the DUT at the TEM cell wall with a well- designed low pass RF filter in order to. - limit the radio frequency emissions into the surrounding space; - isolate the external peripheral or sensors from the TEM cell RF; - define the RF load of the printed circuit board output with the result of minimized resonances; - decouple the TEM cell septum and the circuit board from external loads; - ensure that the RF filter does not influence the DUT and its external load in the useful frequency range. All of the above can be measured and guaranteed via the transfer function between connector panel and TEM cell input. For example, the transfer function is the same for connectors terminated by a short circuit and open circuit if the RF filter is used. If the transfer function is measured without using the RF filter, the results differ by up to 30 dB. It is difficult to define a schematic circuit diagram for the low pass filter because its design is highly dependent on the positioning of the filter elements. It is therefore important to define the three ranges of filter responses versus frequency, as follows. C.3.2 Lower cut-off frequency It is not necessary to define the attenuation from DC to 1 MHz because TEM cell ......
