1 Scope
This document specifies the quality grades, quality requirements, test methods, quality
inspection and acceptance, transportation and storage of semi-coke products.
This document applies to all types of semi-coal products.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
semi-coke
A low-volatility solid carbon product obtained by pyrolyzing high-volatile bituminous
coal with no or weak cohesiveness under medium and low temperature conditions.
3.2
mixed semi-coke
Semi-coke products with a particle size of “less than 50 mm” or “less than 80 mm” that
have not been crushed and screened.
3.3
sized semi-coke
Semi-coke products with particle size greater than or equal to 6 mm.
3.4
large-size semi-coke
Semi-coke products with particle size greater than 25 mm.
3.5
medium-size semi-coke
Semi-coke products with particle size greater than 13 mm and less than 25 mm.
