Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 17646-2013 "Small Wind Turbine Design Requirements."
This standard compared with GB/T 17646-2013, in addition to editorial changes outside the main technical differences are as follows.
--- Change the standard name, to better reflect the scope of the standard;
--- Standard adjustment for Part Ⅰ (Design Evaluation) and Part Ⅱ (Type Test), in order to coordinate with IEC 61400-22 for
Testing and certification
--- Proposed caution to use simplified equations of warning (see Appendix F);
--- Added other wind conditions appendix (see Appendix L);
--- Added tropical cyclone appendix (see Appendix K);
--- Increasing the extreme environmental conditions Appendix (see Appendix J);
--- Added EMC test (Appendix H);
--- Added an appendix on dynamic behavior (see Appendix I);
--- Durability testing requirements were amended (see 13.4);
--- Added a standardized format user label appendix (see Appendix M).
This standard uses the translation method identical with IEC 61400-2.2013 "Wind Turbine Part 2. Small wind turbines."

This standard made the following editorial changes.
--- Fixed some errors in IEC 61400-2.2013.
● In Figure 10, the ordinate EDC is corrected to ECD.
● In formulas (C.4) and (C.5), the "("
● In formula (F.4), the coefficient 1.5 in the parentheses of the second numerator in the first derivation is changed to 0.5.
● Part (F40) of the text description of formula (F.40) is replaced by (F.39);
● In formula (F.44), Vref is changed to Ve1.

Small wind turbine
1 Scope
This standard specifies the safety guidelines for small wind turbine (SWT), quality assurance, engineering integrity and under specific external conditions
Specific requirements for the design, installation, maintenance and operation of safety. Its purpose is to provide adequate wind turbine life expectancy
The degree of protection to prevent various dangers of wind turbine damage.
This standard covers all subsystems of a small wind turbine such as protection mechanisms, internal electrical systems, mechanical systems, support structures,
Basis and electrical connection to the load. Small wind turbine (hereinafter referred to as the unit) Including wind turbine itself containing the support structure, the wind
Genset Controller, Charge Controller/Inverter (if required), Cables and Switches, Installation and Operation Manual, and other documentation.
Although this standard is similar to IEC 61400-1, a simplified and equivalent amount of variation has been made to make it suitable for small wind turbines
move. Several of the requirements of this standard can be modified if it is properly demonstrated that the safety of the wind turbine is not impaired. however,
This rule does not apply to the definition of grading and related external conditions in Chapter 6. Adopting this standard does not mean any individual, organization or
Groups can be exempt from the responsibility to comply with other appropriate procedures.
This standard applies to the swept area of the rotor is not more than.200m2, the voltage is lower than the AC 1000V or 1500V DC grid
Or off-grid wind turbine applications.
