1 Scope
This Standard specifies the composition, functions, application development interface,
performance indicators, over the air programming and numbering plan requirements for
mobile stations of the police digital trunking (PDT) communication system.
This Standard applies to the development, production and acceptance of mobile stations
of the police digital trunking (PDT) communication system.

3 Terms and definitions, abbreviations
3.1 Terms and definitions
For the purpose of this document, terms and definitions given in GA/T 1056-2013 and
GA/T 1059-2013 as well as the following apply.
3.2 Abbreviated terms
For the purpose of this document, abbreviated terms given in GA/T 1056-2013 and
GA/T 1059-2013 as well as the following apply. For ease of use, some abbreviated
terms given in GA/T 1056-2013 and GA/T 1059-2013 are repeated below.

4.1 Portable station composition

5 Mobile station requirements
5.1 General requirements
5.1.1 Design requirements
The mobile station shall be designed following the principles of serialization,
standardization, modularization and downward compatibility, and shall be designed for
reliability, maintainability, ease of use, security and electromagnetic compatibility.
Documents guiding users on correct installation, use and daily maintenance shall be
provided with the product.
5.1.2 Appearance and mechanical structure
The surface of the mobile platform shall be smooth and flat, and shall not have defects
such as cracks, deformation, scratches, burrs, paint peeling, etc. The metal surface shall
have anti-rust and anti-corrosion coatings and shall not have rust or other mechanical
damage.
5.1.3 Technical specifications
The technical specifications shall comply with the provisions of 4.1.1 of GA/T 1056- 2013.
5.1.4 Speech coding
The mobile station shall support or be compatible with NVOC speech coding. NVOC
speech coding realizes speech encoding and decoding based on linear prediction
technology and using DBELP (Division-Band Excitation Linear Prediction).
5.1.5 Extended interface
5.1.5.1 Extended interface of portable station
The portable station extended interface shall be provided with SPK, MIC, GPIO, PTT
and data interfaces, and shall support the connection of hand or shoulder microphones,
earphones and data expansion applications.
5.1.5.2 Extended interface of vehicle station
The vehicle station extended interface shall have SPK, MIC, GPIO, PTT and data
interfaces, and shall support the connection of audio input, audio output and data
expansion applications. The data interface shall support USB or UART communication,
without limiting the physical interface form of USB and UART input and output. USB
shall support USB slave mode, and the USB interface shall be compatible with USB2.0
related regulations. The UART interface specifications shall comply with the provisions
of Table 2.
The vehicle station front panel interface shall be able to connect to the data cable.
5.1.6 Screen
Machines provided with screens shall be able to display Chinese short messages. The
screen display shall include the following information.

The prompt tone of the mobile station shall be able to distinguish the following working

Indication of transmit status shall be supported.
5.1.11 Satellite location
Beidou location shall be supported.
5.5 mm, which is GND.
A flexible adaptable charger base can be selected. The structural design of this base
shall be able to adapt to batteries and hosts of different structures and shall have
charging protection function. The floating charge voltage of the charger for the battery
shall be 8.4 V.
5.1.15 Antenna
The recommended connector for the portable station antenna is an externally threaded
SMA jack connector.
The recommended connector for the vehicle station antenna is a BNC pin connector.
5.2 Functional requirements
5.2.1 Basic functional requirements
Basic functions shall comply with the provisions of 5.2 in GA/T 1056-2013.
5.2.2 Extended functional requirements
5.3 Performance requirements
5.3.1 Electrical performance requirements
Electrical performance requirements shall comply with relevant requirements in 5.4 of
GA/T 1255-2016.
5.4 Requirements for electromagnetic compatibility
Shall comply with relevant requirements in 5.3 of GA/T 1255-2016.
5.5 Requirements for environmental adaptability
Shall comply with relevant requirements in 5.5 of GA/T 1255-2016.
5.6 Durability requirements
The life of the PTT button shall be no less than 400 000 times.
6 Test methods
The functional test method shall meet the requirements of GA/T 1367-2017, and the
performance, environment and electromagnetic compatibility test methods shall meet
the relevant requirements of Chapters 6 ~ 9 of GA/T 1255-2016.
7 Parameter configuration
7.1 Wired configuration
The mobile station shall support the programming computer software to configure
internal parameters through the data cable. The names of the programming computer
software configuration items shall be clear and unambiguous. The recommended
naming method is shown in Appendix C.
7.2 Over the air programming
7.2.1 General
Over the air programming is the system remotely configuring/querying the parameters
of the mobile station through wireless means, which shall be able to support parameter
modification of basic services.
7.2.2 Service support
The following functions shall be supported for mobile station over the air programming.

9.1 Marking
The packaging box shall have the following markings.

Mobile station equipment packed into boxes shall be able to withstand transportation
by motor vehicles, airplanes, ships, etc.
9.4 Storage
The packaged mobile station equipment shall be stored in a warehouse with a
temperature of -10 �� ~ 40 �� and a humidity not exceeding 90%. The warehouse shall
be clean and ventilated.
