The concentration range of hydrochloric acid solution is allowed to be between 34% and 36% (mass fraction). Warning. This reagent is highly volatile and will cause harm to the human body. It should be used in a fume hood and complete protection measures should be taken. Note. The reagent should not be stored for a long time, it should be prepared and used immediately. 5.3 Dilute ammonia solution. Dilute 80 mL of ammonia water (density ρ=0.880 g/mL) to 1 L with water.
