This standard specifies the size, shape, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marks, quality certificates of glass sealed iron-chromium alloy 4J28. This standard applies to iron-chromium alloys that are matched and sealed by soft glass on electrical components.2 Normative references
The provisions in following documents become the provisions of this Standard through reference in this Standard. For the dated references, the subsequent amendments (excluding corrections) or revisions do not apply to this Standard; however, parties who reach an agreement based on this Standard are encouraged to study if the latest versions of these documents are applicable. For undated references, the latest edition of the referenced document applies. The contract or order according to this standard shall include the following contents: a) Standard number; b) Product name; c) Trademark or unified digital code; d) Weight (or quantity) of the delivery; e) Size and shape; f) Processing method; g) Delivery status and performance; h) Special requirements. 6.3.3 Flat products are delivered in hot-rolled state. 6.3.4 Strips, wires, pipes are delivered in either soft state (S) or hard state (H). 6.4 Hardness Soft strip hardness HV shall not exceed 170. For the strips with a thickness less than 0.2 mm, they are exempted from hardness inspection. 6.5 Physical properties The average linear expansion coefficient of the alloy shall meet the requirements in Table 2. 6.6 Phase change After the alloy is treated by the heat treatment system specified in Table 2, martensite shall not appear, but austenite is allowed. 6.7 Grain size The grain size of the soft strip shall not be less than grade 6; the grain size smaller than grade 6 shall not exceed 10% of the area. For strips with a thickness less than 0.13 mm, when estimating the average grain size, the number of grains along the thickness direction of the strip shall not be less than 6. 6.8 Airtightness When the rods, which have diameter or side length not less than 15 mm, are tested for air tightness, there shall be no air leakage. 6.9 Process performance After proper heat treatment, the deep-drawn or hard-state strip shall have good deep- drawing properties; lugs are not allowed to appear during deep-drawing. 6.10 Surface quality The surface quality of alloy materials shall comply with the relevant provisions of GB/T 14985. ......Source: Above contents are excerpted from the full-copy PDF -- translated/reviewed by: www.ChineseStandard.net / Wayne Zheng et al.
