This standard specifies the type and definition of hybrid electric vehicles (as defined in GB/T 19596). This standard applies to hybrid electric vehicles.2 Normative references

The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.4 Hybrid electric vehicle type
4.1 By powertrain structure type 4.1.1 Series hybrid electric vehicle The hybrid electric vehicle the driving force of the vehicle driving system of which is supplied by the motor and engine, simultaneously or separately. 1 In this standard, it refers to the peak power of the driving motor. 4.2 By hybrid degree 4.2.2.1 Micro hybrid electric vehicle The hybrid electric vehicle using the engine as the main power source AND the motor as an auxiliary power, which has the braking energy recovery function. The ratio of motor peak power to total power is less than 10%. 4.3 By external charging capacity 4.3.1 Off-vehicle chargeable hybrid electric vehicle A hybrid electric vehicle designed to take electrical energy from off-board devices under normal use. 4.4 By choice of driving mode 4.4.1 Hybrid electric vehicle with selection switch Hybrid electric vehicles with manual selection of driving modes. Vehicle selectable driving modes include engine mode, pure electric mode and hybrid mode. 4.4.2 Hybrid electric vehicle without selective switch Hybrid electric vehicles that do not have driving mode manual selection functions. Vehicle driving mode is automatically switched based on different conditions. 4.5 Other types of division 4.5.1 It can be divided into, but not limited to, the following types in accordance with the difference of the rechargeable energy storage system. 4.5.2 Hybrid electric vehicles may have other types of division based on their technical characteristics, fuel type, functional structure and vehicle use.
