Foreword

This Standard was drafted as per the rules specified in GB/T 1.1-2009. This Standard replaced LY/T 1184-1995 Sawn Timber of Rubber Wood. Compared with LY/T 1184-1995, the major technical changes of this Standard are as follows: --- Delete the three annexes in the original standard; and incorporate the relevant content into the text; --- Increase the requirements and test methods for the dosing and penetration rate of boron compound preservatives; and increase the selection range of anti-mildew and anti- discoloration agents; --- Readjust the defect allowable limit; --- Increase the sampling method of products; --- Increased product marking terms. 1 Scope

This Standard specifies the technical requirements, inspection methods, marking, transportation and storage for sawn timber of rubber wood. This Standard applies to the production, processing, circulation and use for sawn timber of rubber wood.
