This Part of GB/T 3903 identically adopts the International Standard ISO 22654.2002 “Footwear - Test methods for outsoles - Tensile strength and elongation” (English version), and shares the same technical content, only the following editorial modifications are made. a) “this European Standard” is modified into “this Part of GB/T 3903”; b) USE the decimal point “.” to replace the decimal point “,”; c) DELETE the foreword of the International Standard; d) DELETE the table of content of the International Standard; e) for the EU standards referenced in ISO 22654.2002, this Part directly reference the corresponding national standards; f) “The tensile-testing machine shall comply with the requirements of EN 10002-2, to an accuracy corresponding to grade B” in 4.3 is modified into “The tensile- testing machine shall comply with the requirements of GB/T 16825.1, to an accuracy corresponding to grade 2”; g) DELETE the annex A of the International Standard. This Part was proposed by China Light Industry Council. This Part shall be under the jurisdiction of National Technical Committee on Footwear of Standardization Administration of China.
