This Standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, labelling, packaging, transportation and storage of leather goods. This Standard applies to all kinds of daily leather goods. This Standard does not apply to leather goods with existing product standards. This Standard does not apply to leather goods for special industries.2 Normative references

GB/T 3920 Textiles - Tests for colour fastness - Colour fastness to rubbing GB/T 22889 Leather - Physical-mechanical tests - Determination of surface coating thickness QB/T 2002.1 Hardware fitting of leather products - Specification of electroplated layer QB/T 2002.2 Hardware fitting of leather products - Specification of sprayed coating QB/T 2171 Metal zipper QB/T 2172 Derlin zipper QB/T 2173 Nylon zipper QB/T 2537 Leather - Color fastness test - Colour fastness to reciprocating rubbing QB/T 2790 Dyeing fur - Testing method for colour fastness to rubbing Under natural light, carry out visual and sensory inspection, combined with a ruler. The minimum scale of the ruler is 1 mm. 4.3 Color fastness to rubbing Leather, artificial leather, synthetic leather, and recycled leather materials are inspected according to QB/T 2537. Test head quality: 1000 g of glazed leather, 500 g of velvet leather, 50 dry wipes, 20 wet wipes. Fur materials are inspected according to the provisions of QB/T 2790. Textile materials and uncoated microfiber synthetic leather materials are inspected according to the provisions of GB/T 3920. For the sample that requires the determination of the thickness of the surface coating, the determination shall be carried out according to GB/T 22889. 4.4 Durability of locks 4.4.1 Open-close test Manually check whether the lock is normal. Open and close is denoted as 1 time, and test 200 times. The open-close test of different types of combination locks is as follows: - Mechanical combination lock: Set the code by manually dialing the code wheel, and use the set code to open and close the combination lock; arbitrarily combine each digit, and carry out the open-close test separately; - Key lock: Hold the key by hand and insert it into the key slot of the lock core along the lock core socket to open and close the lock; - Electronic code lock: Use electronic key to open and close the lock. 4.4.2 Garbled character test The garbled character test of different types of combination locks is as follows: - Mechanical combination lock: Choose any 10 groups of different garbled characters to test; - Key lock, electronic code lock: Use non-dedicated key to test 10 times. 4.5 Durability of fasteners Inspect according to QB/T 5084, test 1000 times. 4.6 Durability of zippers Select the zipper length of 20 cm, and test at a frequency of (30 ± 1) times/min. The single piece determination rules are as follows: a) If one (or more) item(s) of the raw materials and fittings, physical- mechanical properties does not meet the requirements of this Standard, or there are more than three items of the appearance quality do not meet the requirements of this Standard, the product is determined as unqualified; b) If the raw materials and fittings, physical-mechanical properties meet the requirements of this Standard, the appearance quality does not affect the performance of the product, and there are not more than three minor defects that have a small impact on the appearance of the product, the product is determined as qualified; c) If the it has a defect that seriously affects the function of the product, the product is determined as unqualified. 5.4.2 Batch determination rules If all three tested samples meet the requirements of qualified products, the batch of products will be determined as qualified. If one (or more) sample(s) is unqualified, it shall take double quantity of samples for re-inspection. If all re- inspections are qualified, the batch of products will be determined as qualified.6 Marking, labelling, packaging, transportation and
