This Standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, requirements, test methods, marking, transportation and storage of electric bicycle tyres. This Standard applies to pneumatic tyres for electric bicycles. This Standard does not apply to non-pneumatic tyres.2 Normative references

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 6326 and the following ones apply to this document. 3.1 Croctchet type tyre The tyre of which the bead core is made of steel wire or other high-strength materials, and the contour shape of the bead is matched with the croctchet type (CT) rim.4 Classification
According to the bead and structural style, electric bicycle tyres are divided into 5.4.1 Each tyre shall be set with no less than 3 clearly-observable tread wear marks at equal distances along the circumferential direction. The height of the tread wear mark shall not be less than 0.5 mm. 5.4.2 The shoulders on both sides of the tyre shall be moulded with markers indicating the position of the tread wear mark. 5.4.3 When the tyre is used until the tread wear mark, it shall not be used anymore.6 Test methods
6.1 Strength test The tyre carcass strength test is carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 31549. 6.2 Bead unseating hydrostatic test The bead unseating hydrostatic test of tyres is carried out according to the provisions of GB/T 31549. 6.3 Durability test The durability test of tyres is carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 31549.7 Marking, transportation and storage
7.1 Marking 7.1.1 The tyres shall have the following marks. Of which a)~c) are permanent marks. d) and e) are marks that cannot be washed off. The marks are as follows: a) Specifications (2PR can be omitted if the level is 2); b) Trademark, name of manufacturer or place of origin; c) Standard air pressure, minimum air pressure and maximum load; d) Production number; e) Inspection mark.
