This Standard is one of the serial national standards of “Hexalobular Socket Screws”, which include. --- GB/T 2671.1 Hexalobular Socket Cheese (Short) Head Screws --- GB/T 2671.2 Hexalobular Socket Head Cap Screws --- GB/T 2672 Hexalobular Socket Pan Head Screws --- GB/T 2673 Hexagon Lobular Socket Countersunk Head Screws --- GB/T 2674 Hexagon Lobular Socket Raised Countersunk Head Screws This Standard was drafted as per the rules specified in GB/T 1.1-2009. This Standard replaced GB/T 2672-2004 Hexalobular Socket Pan Head Screws; compared with GB/T 2672-2004, this Standard has the major technical changes as follows. --- Delete “If other technical requirements are needed, ... the selection in GB/T 3098.6 and GB/T 3103.1).” (see Clause 1 of 2004 Edition); --- Add “the acceptance and inspection of hexalobular socket can refer to GB/T 6188” (see Table 1); --- Add the passivation treatment technical requirements against the stainless-steel screws as per GB/T 5267.4 (see Table 2). This Standard adopts re-drafting method to modify and use ISO 14583.2011 Hexalobular Socket Pan Head Screws. The technical differences and causes between ISO 14583.2011 and this Standard are as follows. --- Delete ISO 14583 provisions “if other technical requirements are needed, ...the selection in ISO 4759-1.” (see Clause 1); which doesn’t belong to the contents of this Standard; --- In the Normative References, use national standards replace the international standards (see Clause 2); increase the quotation of GB/T 2 (see Figure 1), GB/T 90.2 (see Table 2), GB/T 1237 (see 5.1) and GB/T 5267.4 (see Table 2), so that conform to China’s basic standards on fasteners; --- Add the steel and non-ferrous metal screws’ property class “d< 3mm; as per agreement” (see Table 2); confirm the provisions on the property class of small Hexalobular Socket Pan Head Screws1 Scope
