This Standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This Standard replaces GB/T 2-2001, Fasteners – Ends of Parts with External Thread. Compared with GB/T 2-2001, the major technical changes of this Standard are as follows. -- it modifies the standard name; -- it adds the end type of threaded cone point (CA) (3.2); -- it modifies the values of end chamfers (3.2, 3.3). This Standard was redrafted by modifying and adopting ISO 4753.2011, Fasteners – Ends of Parts with External ISO Metric Thread (English version). The technical differences between this Standard and ISO 4753.2011 and their reasons are as follows. -- in Normative References, Chinese standards are used to replace international standards (Chapter 2) to conform to Chinses basic standards of fasteners. The following editorial change is made in this Standard. -- it modifies the standard name. This Standard was proposed by China Machinery Industry Federation. This Standard shall be under the jurisdiction of the National Standardization Technical Committee on Fasteners (SAC/TC 85). The responsible drafting organization of this Standard. China Productivity Center for Machinery. The contributory drafting organizations of this Standard. Shaoxing Sunny High Strength Fasteners Co., Ltd., Shanghai Jinma High Strength Fasteners Co., Ltd.. This Standard shall be interpreted by the Secretariat of the National Standardization Technical Committee on Fasteners. This Standard specifies the form and dimensions of ends of parts with external metric screw thread (e.g. bolt, screw and stud ends) recommended for use. This Standard applies to standardized or non-standardized threaded parts. For each end type, a symbol is specified and it is intended that these symbols be used when specifying one of the ends for threaded fasteners.2 Normative References
