This Standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This Standard replaces GB/T 13822-1992 Specimens for nonferrous diecasting alloys. Compared with GB/T 13822-1992, the major changes of this Standard are as follows: -- Modify the pouring system and exhausting system of the process diagram of test specimens for diecasting alloys, to be closer to the actual diecasting production; -- Modify the arrangement of test specimens on the diecasting process diagram; -- Add that diecasting enterprises can adjust diecasting process parameters according to actual production conditions. This Standard shall be under the jurisdiction of National Technical Committee 54 on Foundry of Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC 54). This Standard specifies the type, size and requirements of test specimens for nonferrous diecasting alloys. This Standard applies to the preparation of test specimens for mechanical property of nonferrous diecasting alloys.2 Normative references

3.1 Tensile test specimen 3.1.1 Type A tensile test specimen Type A tensile test specimen – whose shape and size shall comply with the regulations in Figure 1 – applies to the determination of tensile strength, yield strength and elongation of nonferrous diecasting alloys under different heat treatment states. in millimeters for nonferrous diecasting alloys. Diecasting enterprises can choose in Appendix A and adjust the diecasting process parameters in Appendix B according to actual production conditions. 4.2 The impact of low-speed diecasting, vacuum diecasting and other processes on the preparation of test specimens are not taken into account in this Standard. If necessary, the supplier and the purchaser can negotiate and agree on various technical requirements in the preparation process of test specimens. 4.3 The test specimen shall be cast from nonferrous metal molten in the same batch as the die casting. 4.4 The test specimen shall be cleaned of burrs, and shall not be bent and straightened.
