1 Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the thickness of leather. This standard applies to all types of leather. This standard applies to the determination of the thickness of the whole leather and the specimen.

The thickness of the leather measured by the thickness gauge within a specified load and within a specified time.

4.1 Thickness gauge 4.1.1 Dial gauge, minimum scale 0.01 mm.
