Compared with JB/T 8734.2-1998, main technical changes of this part are as follows. — Change the chapter’s name and relevant reference standards in Normative References (see Chapter 2; Chapter 2 in 1998 edition); — Add the nominal cross-section area and corresponding requirements for cable conductor (see Table 2; Table 5 and Table 6); — Change the upper limit of BVR cables with nominal cross-section areas of 10 mm² and 16 mm² (see Table 5; Table 5 in 1998 edition). The allowable bending radius of cables and wires, with external diameter (D) of less than 25mm, shall be not less than 4D. Insulation thickness shall comply with the provisions of Table 3 - Table 7.
