4.1 Classification 4.1.1 Classification of building materials and products The categories are as follows. - Flat materials and products. - Flooring materials and products. - Roof covering materials and products. - Thermal insulation materials and products for building. • Wall thermal insulation products; • Roof thermal insulation products; • Floor thermal insulation products; • Sandwich composite thermal insulation products; • Pipe thermal insulation products. In flat materials and products, those used for flooring and roofing shall be classified into the corresponding categories of flooring materials and products and roof covering materials and products, respectively.
