Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.
Instead of the standard YS/T 399-1994 "hafnium sponge." Compared with this standard YS/T 399-1994, the following main changes.
--- Adds a new industrial grade HHf-1;
--- Modifications for grades HHf-01 chemical composition;
--- Specifies the method for determining the content of hafnium;
--- Improved hafnium sponge chemical analysis sampling method;
--- Increased granularity test methods sponge hafnium;
--- Increasing the size and appearance quality sampling rule;
--- Increasing the product logo;
--- Increased orders (or contract) content.

This standard was drafted. Beijing Nonferrous Metal Research Institute, the country's nuclear Po Titanium Zirconium AG.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the sponge hafnium requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation, storage and quality certificate and contract (or
Orders) and so on.
This standard applies to hafnium tetrachloride by magnesium reduction, produced by vacuum distillation of hafnium sponge.
2 Requirements
2.1 Categories
Hafnium sponge use is divided into atomic energy and industrial grade two grades. HHf-01, HHf-1.
2.2 Chemical composition
