Contracts for orders placed according to this standard shall include the following. a) Standard number; b) Product name; c) Designation; d) Smelting method (see 6.1); e) Weight or quantity of delivery; f) Dimensions and shape; g) Delivery condition (see 6.3); h) Non-destructive testing methods and levels (see 6.10); i) Special requirements.4 Classification and designation
Alloys are classified according to their delivery condition as follows. Soft state (S); Hard state (H); 1/4 Hard state (H1/4); 1/2 Hard state (H1/2); 3/4 Hard state (H3/4); Deep drawing (DQ); Cold drawing (WCD); Cold drawing and polishing (WCDP); Hot rolled state (WHR); Hot forged state (WHF).5 Dimensions and shape
The dimensions, shape, permissible deviations of the alloy materials shall conform to the relevant provisions of GB/T 14985-2007.6 Technical requirements
6.1 Smelting method Alloys may be smelted using a vacuum induction furnace, a non-vacuum induction furnace, or an electric arc furnace, or other smelting methods that meet the requirements of this standard. If the purchaser has requirements for the smelting method, these shall be specified in the contract. 6.2 Designation and chemical composition The designation and chemical composition (smelting analysis) of the alloy shall conform to the provisions of Table 1.Provided the average coefficient of linear expansion meets the requirements of this standard, deviations from the specified range for nickel and cobalt content are permissible. 6.3 Delivery condition ......Source: Above contents are excerpted from the full-copy PDF -- translated/reviewed by: www.ChineseStandard.net / Wayne Zheng et al.
