1 Scope
This standard specifies the metadata attributes, data element attributes, data elements in data sets and DICOM data elements of medical digital imaging communication data sets.
Contrast relationship.
This standard applies to all types of medical and health institutions, medical equipment manufacturers, and medical image storage and archiving systems (PACS) across the country.
