Finishing agents for the determination of high performance liquid chromatography
1 Scope
This standard specifies the method for the determination of six benzotriazole anti-UV finishing agents (see Appendix A) in textiles by high performance liquid chromatography.
This standard applies to the determination of six kinds of benzotriazole anti-UV finishing agents in various textile materials and products.

3 Principle
The sample was extracted by ultrasonic extraction with methanol. After the extract was concentrated to constant volume, it was determined by high performance liquid chromatography. The retention time was qualitative, and if necessary, the samples were combined.
Ultraviolet absorption spectra were confirmed and quantified by external standard method.
4 Reagents and materials
4.1 Methanol. Chromatographically pure.
4.2 Six kinds of benzotriazole reference materials. purity ≥ 98%, see Appendix A.
4.3 One-component standard stock solution. Accurately weigh the appropriate amount of each benzotriazole reference material (4.2) and formulate them separately with methanol (4.1)
The standard stock solution has a concentration of 1000 mg/L.
Note. Stored in dark at 4°C, the standard stock solution is valid for 12 months.
4.4 Standard working solution. Pipette a standard volume of six benzotriazole stock solutions (4.3) into a brown volumetric flask.
Medium, dilute with methanol (4.1) and bring to volume and shake. The concentration of the mixed standard working solution can be formulated according to actual needs.
Note. The linear range determined by different instruments under different working conditions is different. The concentration range of 6 benzotriazole standard solutions is 0.2mg/L~40mg/L.
The linearity is proven to meet the requirements. Protected from light at 4°C, standard working solution is valid for 3 months.
4.5 Filter membrane. organic phase needle type, pore size 0.22μm.
5 Instruments and Equipment
5.1 High Performance Liquid Chromatography. Equipped with a UV detector or diode array detector (DAD).
5.2 Analytical balance. Sensitive amount 0.1mg and 0.01g.
5.3 Extractor. Tubular, closed plug, approximately 50 mL, made of hard glass.
5.4 ultrasonic extractor. operating frequency 40kHz, controllable temperature.
5.5 Concentrate. 100 mL.
5.6 Rotary evaporator.
