4 Method summary
Milk protein precipitation with acetone, the filtrate was concentrated to near dryness in a water bath, after digestion, distillation, with 0.05mol/L sulfuric acid titration, calculation of non-protein nitrogen
content.
5 Reagents and materials
Unless otherwise specified, the reagents used were of analytical grade.
5.1 Water. GB/T 6682 provided a water.
5.2 acetone.
5.3 copper sulfate (CuSO4 · 5H2O).
5.4 potassium sulfate (K2SO4).
5.5 sulfuric acid (H2SO4 density of 1.84g/L).
5.6 boric acid (H3BO3).
5.7 methyl red indicator (C15H15N3O2).
5.8 bromocresol green indicator (C21H14Br4O5S).
5.9 Methylene blue indicator (C16H18CIN3S · 3H2O).
