Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces SN/T 2331-2009 "Textile raw materials cotton sugar content detection method of high performance liquid chromatography," and
SN/T 2331-2009 compared to the main technical changes are as follows.
--- Removed the scope of "quick test";
--- Increased in the range of "including glucose, lactose, cellobiose, melibiose, melezitose";
--- Increased 5.9, on the provisions of the test water;
--- Removed 7.5 in the "analysis of the standard solution according to the above analysis conditions";
--- Added Chapter 11 "Test Report."
This standard also made the following editorial changes.
--- Modify the standard Chinese and English names.
This standard is proposed and managed by the National Certification and Accreditation Administration Committee.
This standard was drafted by Tianjin Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, People's Republic of China.

Import and export of cotton fiber sugar test methods
High performance liquid chromatography
1 Scope
This standard specifies the cotton sugar content of high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method.
This standard applies to the determination of cotton sugar content, including glucose, lactose, cellobiose, melibiose, melezitose.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Internal sugar internalsaccharide
The self-growth of cotton fiber produces soluble sugar, also known as plant physiological sugar, such as sugar, glucose, lactose, sucrose, cellobiose and so on.
3.2
Exo sugar externalsaccharide
Affected by insect contact with cotton, or fall cold, dry cotton leaf nectary secretions, soluble on the surface of cotton fibers
Sugar, also known as exogenous substances or insect sugars, such as melibiose, melezitose and the like.
3.3
Sugar in cotton fiber sugarcontentofcottonfiber
The total amount of soluble sugars contained, including internal and external sugars.
4 principle
With water-soaked cotton fibers, the extract was concentrated, fixed volume, with a series of amino-bonded column for quantitative analysis by high performance liquid chromatography.
5 reagent
5.1 Acetonitrile. Chromatographic purity.
5.2 glucose. Purity ≥ 99%.
5.3 lactose. Purity ≥ 99%.
5.4 Maltose Purity ≥99%.
5.5 Melibiose. Purity ≥98%.
5.6 Mason sugar purity of ≥ 99%.
