| Summary | This standard specifies 6.3mm between the seven-bit coded character set (see GB 1988), the seven-bit coded character set extension (see GB 2311) and/or the eight-bit coded character set (see ISO 4873) O.25in) cassette tape to ensure data exchange and physical interchangeability of the cartridge. The reel is a double plate hub, with a 6.30mm wide, digital recording tape recorded at 63/mm. The transfer of the tape between the two hubs is effected by driving the drive wheels within the drive cartridges by an external drive motor.
